Jewellery Maker TV presented me with a range of fabulous glass beads and challenged me to make something different. Well, I do like a challenge, and the beads were so beautiful that I had to use as many as I could in this piece.
I'm not going to lie, it took a while and proved very fiddly. Layering up such a huge quantity of 8mm glass beads with a difficult seed bead stitch nearly sent me over the edge, but I was so delighted with the finished effect.
Layers of coloured and textured 8mm glass beads cascade around the neckline to create a fun, bubble-style necklace that is both complex and visually striking. The beads are divine, and I loved working with them to create this fun and fabulous piece.
