I wanted to experiment with different colour combinations as well as design a seed bead set that looked more delicate than my usual showstoppers!

Full description
Tones of gold collide with deep peacock blue, lilac and burnt orange. The colours sound as though they should not work, but the Aztec weave of the beading blends the five colours perfectly.
Each element of this design is hand-sewn, and as I assembled it, the design reminded me of Phoenix feathers, so I had to call it Phoenix. The triangular elements are bound by fabulous Austrian Crystals which reflect a myriad of colours to compliment the colours of the glass seed beads perfectly.
The necklace is 18 inches long but may be worn longer or shorter due to the clasp. The matching earrings are fitted on Gold-Plated ear wires.
This is a delicate-looking set but the sparkle of the glass seed beads and crystals give it real impact.
