Full description
This is my beautiful spotted eagle ray linocut printed in a rich dark blue ink, swimming above a blind embossed textured sandy seabed.
It has been fully carved in Lino by hand and the ray was carefully cut out of the background. It was then printed as two layers, first the blind embossed background followed by the inked layer.
Printed using Cranfield Caligo inks on beautiful Fabriano Rosapina Avoria 285gsm paper, and using a Gunning etching press to help achieve depth and texture. The inks are archival quality and the paper is acid free ensuring your artwork remains bright and clear for many years.
This is a limited run of 25 due to the fragility of the Lino. As these are hand printed pieces no two are perfectly identical which add to the charm of the artwork.
Please note this paper is a warm ivory colour so can look a ‘buff’ colour when side by side with bright white paper.
Size: 34 x 25 cms. Supplied with a 30cm magnetic wooden hanger frame.

Your print will be sent in a card postage box marked ‘do not bend’. A biodegradable cellophane will be used to protect your print whilst in transit.
