Full description
Annie's Mum comes from Shetland and it is a place that her whole family loves very much. So this is a tribute to the beautiful and hardy flowers that grow there. This delicate pink flower is called a Bog Pimpernel. The word pimpernel means from the primrose family and also the Scarlet Pimpernel who was dashing, evasive and mysterious. This delicately beautiful flower make tuck itself away in the peaty bogs, but it bursts with outrageous beauty!
This knitted Bog Pimpernel comes tucked into a mini log slice and is ready to display immediately. It is a beautiful addition to your home and can serve as a reminder of the beauty of Shetland.
This knitted flower stands 23cm tall including the log.
