I'm originally from Lancashire and since I started making my pendants, I thought it would be lovely to make some from somewhere that I'm so fond of. To me, Rivington is very strongly associated with childhood and home.
If you haven't been, I highly recommend! On the way to the top of Rivington Pike, you can get lost in the ruins and overgrown gardens that were once part of Lord Leverhulme's Estate. The views are definitely worth the effort!

Full description
This silver necklace was made from a piece of Juniper haircap moss, found in Rivington, Lancashire.
All my pendants are handmade from silver clay, using real botanicals. I create a mould in order to capture every detail. Silver clay is then pressed into the mould before being dried, sanded and fired.
I oxidised the Juniper moss pendant so that the detailed imprint would stand out clearly as a silhouette against the silver.
The pendant was then polished lightly to create a soft, satin finish.
Each pendant is handcrafted and unique, capturing a moment in nature for prosperity.
All pendants are attached by sterling silver jump ring to an 18 inch sterling silver chain.

Items are carefully packaged in eco-friendly, recyclable cardboard necklace boxes, protected by a larger, letterbox friendly box.
