As I live in the Welsh countryside, I am always inspired by the natural world and the beauty it holds. I try to live alongside it and in harmony with flaura and fauna elements to almost all of my art works. Most of what I create are one offs as I don't like to mass produce. I also only make what I would have in my own home and be happy to give as a gift to a loved one myself so you can guarantee all my pieces are made with love and meraki.

Full description
Inspired by a recent trip to Scotland, I decided to make a red squirrel sculpture as I am aware of the rarety of these animals and the fact they are only seen in limited parts of the UK.
Watching them tirelessly foraging and collecting anything they can ready for Winter I felt the need to sculpt a piece or art to depict the sleepiness they must feel at the end of each day.
This little red squirrel is fast asleep on his maple leaf bed while holding his peanut treasure that he discovered that day ! Super realistic and a beautiful piece of handmade ceramic art.
Great for collectors of squirrel related or conservation projects.

I made this little squirrel myself from clay, he has been fired in my kiln and glazed at my tiny home studio in the Welsh countryside.
Completely hand made, original & unique a total ooak.
This is the sculpture no one else will have and is a one off piece of art so an ideal treat to yourself or as a gift !
