Full description
Original signed watercolour art of a purple iris entwined around a large letter I in 23.5 carat pure gold leaf. The iris is the birthday flower of those born in February. It also represents fidelity and hope and light in the darkness.
The 23.5 carat gold letter I has imperfections, hence this piece is in the sale. There are slight dimpling at the edges and some uneven surfaces but not enough to detract from the beauty and glimmer of the gold.
This piece of art comes with a white double mount but not the frame shown. The reason I don't post out larger frames is due to risk of breakage in transit but if you want the frame at no extra cost, I will include it here but will not take any refunds if it gets broken in the post. This will be something you will have to accept if you choose to include the frame.
If you choose the mount only, then this will be posted out in a large bend proof envelope. If you choose the frame, it will come boxed.
Mount edge size (and frame size) is 10 inches x 8 inches (25 x 20cms). Mount insert size is 8 inches x 6 inches (20cms x 15cms).
So, if you decide to buy your own frame you need a 10 x 8 inch frame.
