Sterling Silver Colourful Surfite Round Oxidised Earrings
These round earrings are handmade from recycled sterling silver and Surfite, with swirling layers of blue, green and cream tones captured within each stone.
The silver has been oxidised to create a rich dark finish that frames the vibrant Surfite stones and adds contrast and depth. Lightweight and comfortable, these earrings are perfect for everyday wear or as a thoughtful gift with a coastal connection.
Handmade in Bristol UK using recycled materials and traditional techniques, these earrings celebrate craftsmanship, sustainability and a love for the sea.
Surfite is made from resin run offs created when glazing surfboards. Over time, layers of resin build up creating a slab of multiple colours. In the past, these run offs would have been broken up and sent to land fill. Instead, by cutting them into shapes which can be made into jewellery this process reduces the amount that is sent to landfill by up to 90%.
