Full description
A seascape small wall hanging made using offcuts from upcycled fabric, lace, sequins, buttons and fancy yarn.
Sparkly and lace fabric from unwanted dresses make a lovely sea, sparkling in the sunshine. Sparkly thread and sequins add more sparkle I've used a variety of embroidery stitches to attached the fabric pieces to a piece of vintage needlecord fabric. All hand stitched with no machine stitching or glue.
I've used hemp twine as hangers and hung it from a piece of driftwood. These are easily removed if you prefer to use another way to display the art work.
The artwork is backed with a piece of reclaimed wool banket.
The art work measures 18 x 12 cm not including hanging loops or driftwood,.
