Genuine natural faceted Aquamarine rondelles, sizes 3 x 1mm to 6 x 2mm, from Africa, on a simple 925 Sterling Silver wire and shepherd hook ear fitting. The dangle length is approx 3.5cm (nearly 1.5 inch) approx. They have a beautiful subtle hint of blue, they have not been enhanced, ideal for a bride looking for that something blue or as a birthday gift during March. Aquamarine is also given for a 19th Wedding Anniversary, Drop length 3.5cm approx.
Aquamarine’s name comes from the Latin for seawater and it was said to calm waves and keep sailors safe at sea.It is believed to enhance the happiness of marriage and prolong relationships which is why it is a popular gemstone for engagement rings.
Aquamarine is near the top of the gemstone hardness scale so warm soapy water (mild washing up liquid) and a soft brush or cloth should be sufficient to get your gems clean.
