Hand Forged Tapered Hook
Made in my home forge I have made this hook to be practical yet stylistic.
Made from 8mm solid steel bar I have forged down the iron to a point before bending it around the anvil to create the hook. The hook is approximatley 8cm long and protrudes 5.5cm from the door.
I have used the hammer to set down the head of the hook of which one 4mm wide hole is made for attatchment.
Once made, I seal the hook whilst hot with traditional beeswax to provide the perfect interior finnish.
