Full description
This unusual copper pendant features a circular band of woven wires, with a glass disc in the bottom centre. The glass is held in place with more wrapped wires, which then loop around the circle frame, before finishing with small spiral details. The glass disc is striped with pale pink, white & translucent bands.
This design was created whilst trying different ways of setting smaller cabochons. It's a prototype that I wouldn't recreate in the same way. There are slight imperfections in a couple of places:
- the two bare wires at the bottom of the pendant are not symmetrical
- the bail is slightly skewed
For these reasons, I have added this design as part of the Perfectly Imperfect event. If it doesn't find a home, then I will take it apart and try something else!
This ever-so-slightly imperfect pendant comes with a black cotton cord, finished with handmade fastenings. Please let me know what length you'd like - if you leave the box blank then I'll send a 40cm cord. The pendant itself measures 4.5cm long from the top of the bail, and just over 3cm across at the widest point,
Your pendant will be posted out gift boxed, inside a recycled polythene bag, via Royal Mail first class post.
