The fired, natural toasted oatmeal beige colour of the clay is gorgeous without the cobalt blue. I wanted to combine the two contrasting colors, to try it out and this is the result.

Thrown with an oatmeal colored stoneware clay. The vase is decorated with a dark cobalt blue swirly pattern, (not shown well on photo, looks black) and finished with a glossy glaze. Suits fresh flowers. One of a kind, limited edition and designed by Penarth Ceramics. Stands 10 cms x 8 cms wide diameter at the rim. Capacity 350 mls
