A lovely opportunity to acquire a gorgeous piece of this 1950’s Sulfolk puff quilt.
A gorgeous vintage fabric book, ready for you to add your own personal touches and covet as a keepsake.
The front cover is antique French linen, with a mini block of Suffolk puffs attached by hand. The back cover is a piece of antique quilt in ivory, featuring a tiny pink motif (design may differ from that one shown in the photo), edged in blanket stitch.
Inside there are 5 pages of vintage French linen, to add either embroideries or applique work to. Inside the front cover there is a page created from vintage lace. Towards the back, there are two pages, one featuring a lace pocket with a few added surprises, and inside the back cover, one with an eyelet trim.
Included is a typed piece of words which you can separate to use as labels for your pages.
The book is bound together with a contrast piece of antique French linen, and has a button which can be used to fasten your book by wrapping round the attached handmade cord.
The fabric book measures approx 16cm x16cm.
Please note that all the fabrics are vintage or antique, and may show imperfections which are commensurate with their age, but only add charm to the finished book.. Please do not purchase if you like your vintage fabrics to be perfect.
