I felt inspired to make an orange scrap quilt in bold, simple, unfussy blocks, The aim was to make a quilt that you want to use straight away and that makes you smile every time you see it.

Full description
A soft, bright, up-beat hand-made scrap quilt to wrap around you or your loved-one and savour. This patchwork quilt is made up of simple squares which have been hand-quilted in biggish stitches. It's not complicated and it's not sophisticated. What it is, is sunny, cheerful and instantly useable. (Don't keep it for best.)
The quilt top is made out of a mix of vintage, rescued and new fabrics, the wadding is a wool-cotton mix and the backing is cotton. It measures 133cm by 145cm, so is ideal for a child's bed, or a single bed (if you don't mind it not covering the entire bed) or for just tucking in around your knees as you're watching your next box set.
