Full description
This Fair Isle beanie hat (or "toorie" as we say in Shetland) is hand knit in 100% Shetland wool using traditional Fair Isle and Nordic techniques. This is my Thora Beth - colour burst design and can be worn as part of a set, along with matching cowl and fingerless mitts. As you scroll through the gallery, you will see pictures of the complete set. But please remember this listing is for the beanie hat alone.
The beanie is really a "one size fits all" but approximate circumference while not being worn is 50cm (20") with plenty of stretch.
Shetland wool is naturally stain repellent and does not need to be washed often, but if you feel your hat need to be washed:-
Hand wash in cool water.
Lay flat to dry.
