Full description
Offcut of dancewear spandex / lycra fabric. Midnight blue stretch velvet sprinkled with swirls of tiny turquoise metallic dots that look like galaxies in the night sky. Soft and drapey, and really catching the light, this would be a lovely accent piece in a dance or stage costume, or a stunning background for all sorts of textile arts and crafts.
Perfectly imperfect - this remnant is an offcut from a dance costume I made a few years back, and is irregular in shape and cut up the bolt, not across. Depending on your craft purpose, this may be important - although it's a 4-way stretch, it stretches more side to across the width, than up and down the length.
Just over 1.5m long and gradually increasing from 50cm wide at one end to 80cm at the other, and with a few dips in and out along the way. I think the largest "rectangle" that can be cut from this is 150cm long and 50cm wide - about "half a metre of fabric" but lengthways, as explained above.
Composition: polyester lycra spandex
Care - wash at 30 degrees delicate, and dip dry away from sunlight. Do not tumble dry or iron.
