Full description
6 Skeins of Anchor Tapisserie Wool - designed for canvas tapestry or needlepoint, as well as rug making. These lovely yarns can be used for other sewing projects such as cross stitch or hand embroidery, as well as other textile arts and crafts.
100% pure wool (laine), these yarns are 4ply.
Pre-loved, these look to be the full skeins of 10 yards - but I have not measured them.
The colours are lovely and soft. There are two skeins of dark brown, and one each of black, teal, duck-egg and purple.
All with their original labels, I have shown the shade numbers in the last photo. Most of them correspond to the numbering system currently used by Anchor today (8000-9000), apart from the teal which has an older number (0164) that converts to 8824.
These are part of my vintage and pre-loved haberdashery de-stash. Over the years I have collected lots of beautiful old craft supplies - some passed on by family members and friends, and some bought from antique and pre-loved shops here in Wales. I am no longer able to use all of these, and hope that someone else will be able to make good use of them.
