I was gifted a cherry tree by a customer 7 years ago. I’m gradually turning the tree into wooden gifts. I’m letting the cherry naturally dry out and using as much of the tree as possible minimising any waste. Leaving any natural splits and edge in the final piece. Cherry is known for splitting easily as it dries.
