Full description
A pretty Russian dolls gift set, including a toiletry bag, make up bag and large purse. Each pouch features an appliqué Matryoshka doll, and the bags stack inside each other, just like Russian dolls. The bags are made from pale dusky pink fabric and have slightly darker pink zips with ribbon tabs. The Russian dolls are made from two co-ordinating pink fabrics, one polka dot and one floral. They have brown floral fabric hair. Their eyes are black sequins with embroidered eyelashes, and their lips and rosy cheeks are free-motion embroidered. The largest doll has a wooden pink flower button in her hair and a pink ribbon bow on her shawl. The pouches have burgundy water-resistant linings.
These stacking Russian doll bags are pretty but practical. I loved the idea of opening a Russian doll toiletry bag to find a make up bag inside with a purse inside that. The set would be ideal as a special and unique gift for anyone who loves Matryoshka dolls.
Each pouch is spacious and has a squared-off base to give plenty of storage room inside. The approximate measurements are:
Toiletry bag: 12 inches (30cm) wide, 9 inches (23cm) high, 4 inches (10cm) across the base
Make up bag: 9.5 inches (24cm) wide x 6 inches (15cm) high x 2 inches (5cm) across the base
Coin purse: 6.5 inches (16.5cm) wide x 4.5 inches (12cm) high x 1 inch (2.5cm) across the base
