My art is shaped by my love of symmetry, geometry, balance, and things fitting together.
My influence comes from nature. The colours, the feelings and the connections.
This piece was painted late at night, during a spate of insomnia, while I listened to the sound of owls outside my window.

Full description
Hand painted in acrylic paint using dotting tools and scribing tools to drag and shape the paint, and finished with 3 coats of matt varnish to give the piece long lasting protection.
The wood panel is 35cm in diameter and is set on a 2cm thick frame on the back.
The ombre shades of purple and teal green with white highlights on a black background give the feeling of a beautiful secret garden late at night.
I have done my best to make sure the colours in the photos are accurate and true to life, but please keep in mind that screens may vary.
