Full description

Plants that survive almost anything

They are super-low maintenance no over-watering, no under-watering no watering at all, in fact.

All they need is an occasional dusting.

If you want to talk to them then please do. They will appreciate it but won t be able to show it.

This Mother-in-Law's Tongue specimen Measures approx 8cm across the pot, and 25cm from base to leaf tip.

They are made here in the UK from rescued, recycled, upcycled and reloved fabrics, pots and other ingredients.

The pots are rescued from charity shops.

The fabric is from rescued clothes, second hand remnants and off cuts.

The wire in the leaves is left over from gardening projects, bought from charity shops (new only where none is available second hand).

The filling in the pots is polystyrene from appliance packaging. Polystyrene isn t typically thought of as a green product, but it s hard to get rid of, so I ve used it usefully.

The cork is sourced second hand from ebay, and charity shops.

The little stones at the plant base are also from charity shopsleft overs etc

You get the picture

This is a plant it s hard to kill. Great for people and places that like easy care plants but where feeding and watering are a problem.

Plastic plants are all very well, but well, they re plastic. And unless they re very expensive, they look plastic. This fabric, easy care, unkillable plant may not look as real as the real thing, but it has green credentials.
