All of the jewellery pieces in this Folksy shop are handmade by myself in a lovely, shed studio in my back garden.
The handmade jewellery I make is inspired by nature, the coastline of my home Island of Mersea, meaningful words and the joy of simplicity.
Handmade in recycled sterling silver, recycled gold, sterling silver, copper, 14ct gold filled, and occasionally brass. Semi-precious stones, precious stones and beads are also featured in my work.

Full description
14ct gold filled wire has been hand formed into wobbly oval shapes. With dyed light pink baroque shaped natural pearls, wire wrapped to secure them to the gold filled ovals to allow them to move freely.
Gold filled is a more durable version of gold plate, less likely to chip. A solid gold layer has been bonded to a base metal, normally brass. Gold filled is also known as rolled gold.

These earrings are ready made and ready to go, but please do allow for up to 1 - 3 days before being dispatched. Posted by Royal Mail special delivery. Package in a large earring box, finished with a hand tied ribbon bow.
The earrings measure 4.9cm x 1.5cm. With the pearls measuring 1cm x 0.7cm.
