Formerly 'Buttons, Beads and Blanket Stitch'.
My work predominantly comprises hand cut and burnished lino prints, with sewing playing an occasional part.
Whether working in print or in stitch, I am inspired by the natural world and the people around me, with words/text frequently playing an integral part.

Full description
This little print was made in two stages, with the hand-carved linocut message ‘You are Lovely’, printed in a deep purple ink over a loose pale pink watercolour sweep of a heart.
The paper is a beautiful off-white 'Khadi' paper from India, which measures approximately 15cm x 11cm.
Each of this small edition of just 8 prints has been signed and numbered and having been painted and printed by hand, slight variations from print to print will occur; such is the beauty of a unique, hand-crafted piece.
Your print will be posted to you in a cello with a back board, ready to present as is or to frame with the mount and surround of your choosing.
Fairly small in both size and price, these prints make a lovely easy to post gift and what lovelier thing to arrive with the mail than this heart warming little message?
