Full description
A mix of four very pretty buttons - I'm sure the magpies will go for these shiny beauties. Preloved in great condition, they are slightly domed with a small shank. They would have many uses in crafting as well as adorning clothing, and would look especially good paired with vintage lace or satins.
Three are antiqued silver colour and lots of stylised relief detailing that evoke Art Deco but I think are retro. Two are identical with cupped flower motifs, and the third is more filigreed. These are quite lightweight.
The fourth button is a heavier metal in a dull gold colour, and may be vintage. It has with Celtic style swirl border surrounding a large white centre that looks milky or pearly - it could be a resin or plastic such as Lucite. .
Ranging from 1cm to 1.5 cm in size.

The Old Button collection - over the years many beautiful buttons have been passed down to me by family members or gifted to me by friends. Others I have sourced locally from antique and pre-loved stores.
Each button is carefully sorted and cleaned, and carefully sewn to card tags to help protect them.
