Full description
This print of my original artwork captures the essence of dawn with a detailed blackbird perched on a branch as the first light of daybreak emerges.
The piece is created using the pointillism technique, worked in fine liner pen and thousands of little dots forming texture and shading.
Above the bird, a Shakespearean quote from The Tempest, Act 5, scene 1, curves around this composition - The morning steals upon the night, melting the darkness.
The radiating sunbeams in the background symbolise the rising sun, while the delicate floral details on the bird represent the beauty of nature.
