Full description
A pair of stylish buttons, with a retro look. Red and black domes, with metal shanks and a decorative accent dot in the indented centre. They have a lovely subtle sheen and look beautiful decorating the cuffs of a special sweater, or as practical fastenings for a jacket or cape.
They are also ideal for crafting - I'm thinking lovely centre pieces for brooches - but be aware that the high dome and metal shank means they will sit proud on the fabric and "roll around", if not seated in a buttonhole, so factor that into your design.
These are preloved buttons, in great condition but with the "newness" knocked off them. I am not sure exactly how old, I think they are fairly modern so I'm saying retro rather than vintage.
2cm in diameter (20mm).
Plastic and metal - as these are from my Old Button collection, I am not sure of the exact materials.

Each button is carefully sorted and cleaned, and carefully sewn to card tags to help protect them.
