The Tale of the First Glimmerling
Long ago, before the great trees of Eldergrove reached the skies, the forest was dark and unkind. Shadows stretched endlessly, and creatures hid in fear of what lurked within the void. The Heart of the Forest, a sentient and ancient being, watched in sorrow as the balance of life crumbled. The Heart decided to create guardians, beings of light and empathy, who could restore harmony to the woods. Thus, the Glimmerlings were born.
The first Glimmerling was Aurelith, a creature of pure, radiant energy. Her skin glowed with tiny orbs that shifted colors with her emotions, painting the forest in hues of joy, sorrow, or peace. Her eyes, deep and black as the night, were gifted with the power to see into the souls of all living things. This gift allowed her to sense the truth of their hearts—their pain, their hopes, and their fears.
