I hope people enjoy this and the others in this range of one off clocks and wooden wonders. Fun and function rarely mix but I hope these meet the mark? The future is created by our dreams and inspirations. I’m a dreamer who makes things. The Moonclox was another crazy idea which developed into something else as the scribbles on the paper bring new ideas and ways to make something even stranger for a clock at least. These original clocks have spawned different ideas and influences in this range of clock made with different woods, fixings and materials.

Full description
This clock is made from rippled Sycamore with Wenge inserts on both the front and back of the clock. The inserts took some time and patience to do and it gives the clock a distinctive look as the inserts are the end grain of wenge and not the long grain which is easier to work. To achieve such a small clock the time to create and build is disproportionate, but enjoyable to do and the effect is worth the work, this was a part of my soul working with the timber with no real design for this one, just the tools and me to produce this little beauty.
Size 160mm high by 100mm long by 45mm deep. It weighs 0.25 kg (9ozs).
Clock movement is a UTS quartz movement with silver hands made in Germany and are exposed so care must be taken with these hands. AA battery required. This range of clocks are made from timber that is recycled and re-purposed to make these clock individual. They are stamped with their own unique number on the base.
This clock is made from organic, natural, solid wood and will distort if put near a heat source such as a radiator, it will also discolour if left in direct sunlight. The item you see here is the one you will receive and I have aimed to provide dimensions which are as accurate as possible. Please note that wood is a natural product and can be affected by its environment.
