Having long hair I was bored with the bland hair clips on offer so I took it upon myself to make my own to match particular outfits. That opened Pandora's box leading to me looking at beautiful patterned dichroic glass to create something extra special.

Full description
This hair barrette clip measures 10 cm long and is made with two sheets of art glass fused to one strip and firmly glued to a 8cm clip. The fusing took place in a specialist glass kiln fired to 780 degrees Celsius before slowly being cooled in a controlled programme to prevent thermal shock.
The top glass layer is a mesmerising and shimmering ripple glass in vibrant yellow to orange , turquoise to green. Whilst more expensive than usual art glass, the colour shift and shimmering finish the glass offers is beautiful and well worth the price.
Postage is included within the UK along with the choice of a gift box and gift card.
