10 Silk carrier rods dyed with weld and indigo to a dark teal.
Silk carrier rods are a by-product of the silk reeling process, they are the waste product cut from the spindles.
They contain the natural silk gum, sericin and can be soaked in warm water to loosen the fibres for spinning, paper making, etc.
Please note - as these are dyed with natural dyes, prolonged soaking will alter the colour and some colour bleed is inevitable.
Approx10g to a pack, they will vary in size and shade. These may not be the exact cocoons you receive, but they were all dyed in the same batches and will be very similar.
Mordanted and rinsed, but fastness is not guaranteed.
Colours may appear different on different screens.
