This fleece is from a local flock and is part of my campaign to make British wool profitable again. A percentage of each sale goes directly back to the shepherd.

A lovely soft bag of Mule sheep fleece, 50g in weight.
The Mule sheep is a cross breed with a Bluefaced Leicester ram and a pure bred hill ewe. This is a commercial breed of sheep and one of the most common breeds found in the UK.
This fleece is soft and fluffy with a long staple and a good crimp. It spins beautifully giving a soft, non itchy yarn which is 'next to the skin' soft. (please note, the ball of wool is for illustration only)
