I am part of a campaign to promote British wool and to add value to a product that was once highly sought after and is now largely overlooked.
I am working with local shepherds to promote the wool from their sheep and to bring it back to profit for them.

Full description
50g of hand washed New Zealand Romney Fleece.
This fleece is soft with a 30-35 micron count. It is naturally cream coloured and has a staple length of approximately 15cm in length. It has a good crimp and is ideal for spinning, wet and needle felting.
This fleece comes from a local flock attached to an agricultural college, the sheep are well cared for and the fleece is of a high quality.
