Wood is a natural product that continues to move. It moves with the seasons, and in modern times, moves with the central heating! When making things from wood, I try and allow for the movement when designing. But it doesn't always work....so if a small crack appears, it's just the wood doing it's thing.

Full description
This pair coasters will make an attractive addition to any dining or coffee table, and help protect surfaces from drips and spills.
The coasters are made primarily from Oak with decorative stripes of Ash and Iroko in the centre.
They are coated with an acrylic lacquer to give them a hard wearing finish.
The coasters are 108mm square and 10mm thick.
