Full description
This print is of Corfe Castle, in the Isle of Purbeck, Dorset. Built by William the Conqueror in the 11th Century, it commands and protected the gap in the Purbeck Hills.
It featured as Kirrin Castle in the Famous Five adventure series by Enid Blyton.
