Recycled Sterling Silver Aqua Blue Surfite Heart Necklace
This handmade necklace features a vibrant Surfite stone in shades of blue and green, shaped into a heart and set in recycled sterling silver. The smooth, polished front reveals swirling patterns of colour, reminiscent of ocean waves, while the reverse is adorned with a delicately patterned silver backplate.

Surfite is made from resin run offs created when glazing surfboards. Over time, layers of resin build up creating a slab of multiple colours. In the past, these run offs would have been broken up and sent to land fill. Instead, by cutting them into shapes which can be made into jewellery this process reduces the amount that is sent to landfill by up to 90%.
