All of the jewellery pieces in this Folksy shop are handmade by myself in a lovely, shed studio in my back garden.
The handmade jewellery I make is inspired by nature, the coastline of my home Island of Mersea, meaningful words and the joy of simplicity.
Handmade in recycled sterling silver, recycled gold, sterling silver, copper, 14ct gold filled, and occasionally brass. Semi-precious stones, precious stones and beads are also featured in my work.

On a walk along a local Mersea beach I watched birds flying along the waters edge.

Full description
Two different flying bird forms have been hand sawn from recycled sterling silver sheet. Stud pin backs have been soldered onto the backs of the silver birds. 925 has been stamped onto the back of the earrings to signify that these stud earrings are solid sterling silver.
The earring fittings are recycled sterling silver butterfly scroll backs.
The birds measure 2cm x 1.4cm and 1.6cm x 1.35cm.
Can take between 2 - 7 days to make.

Sent in a navy blue card box, with velvet like insert, finished with ribbon.
