I found a collection of beautifully smoothed and rounded pot pieces washed up on a beach. I wanted to en corporate these into my textile work, giving them a new home and life.

Full description
Hand painted and embroidered, fabric vessel, in pastel shades . The circular cut out holds a gift from the sea. A piece of smooth edged pot shard found on a beach is suspended on fine gold coloured wire.
The vessel is lined with repurpose woven woollen fabric which helps it stand rigid maintaining its shape .
The vessel will arrive with padding inside all you just need to is tease it into shape. You can insert a glass jar, (not supplied) and turn it into a unique flower vase. Most household jars ie jam will fit inside. Use it to hold cut flowers, or to store pens, brushes, crochet hooks etc.
