The scenic background to this panel started as an experiment using glass powders sieved over a wavy piece of glass to create ‘mountains’ and the moon was cut from a delicate sheet of pure silver foil with blue glass powder sprinkled on top. Great fun to work on!

Full description
This rectangular panel, measuring 19.5cm by 14cm, is made from 2mm French Vanilla glass and sits in a solid wood stand. It features a mother and baby elephant under a large silver and blue moon. The scenery in the background is created with glass powders in shades of black, blue and purple and the large moon is a circle of pure silver foil topped with aquamarine blue powdered glass.
