'The Bothy in the Bay' - this one of a kind miniature diorama features a mountainous coastal scene with a tiny bothy overlooking a beautiful bay, and is inspired by my love of the Scottish landscape. Each little diorama I make is different, making it a great unique gift, or even a present to yourself!
The design comes from original drawings which have been transformed into layers of laser cut wood, which I have then painted and screenprinted by hand and built up to form 3d layers, and finished with paper layers. It is built into a white glazed wooden box frame, which measures approx 11.5cm; the scene itself measures 7.8cm x 7.8cm x 1.5cm.
To show its details clearly, this item is pictured without its frame glass.
