I love gemstones which come in different shades and tones and moonstone is one of my favourite examples! These longer length necklaces are elegant but still lightweight and comfortable to wear and the fact it can be worn at two lengths give great flexibility for wearing with different necklines.

This beautiful necklace has been made from different shades of natural moonstone beads, intricately hand wrapped in knot work frames of sterling silver around the stones. This necklace features 8 mm grey, white and peach moonstone beads, hand selected for their interesting colours and pretty play of light. This particular necklace can be worn at two different lengths for maximum flexibility, at it's longest length it is approximately 26 and a half inches long and at it's shortest it is around 23 inches. It fastens with a handmade sterling silver hook and loop clasp. This is a very wearable style but the size of the stones and the pleasing colour combination makes it really eye catching. For this listing you will receive the exact necklace shown in the photos which is a one piece- perfect for an extra special June birthday. This necklace has been hallmarked by the Assay Office in Edinburgh. Please check all sizes carefully before ordering as I often use close up photography to show the detail of my work
Moonstone is one of the birthstones for people born in the month of June. Moonstone comes in different colours, as demonstrated by this pretty selection of stones I have used to create this piece of jewellery. Crystal collectors believe moonstone to offer protection on journeys, particularly journeys across water making it an excellent bon voyage gift. It is known as the traveller's stone for this reason.
