I have been creating beautiful sterling silver jewellery from my home studio in Scotland since 2018. All my jewellery is solid 925 sterling silver and all pendants include an 18" chain as standard (longer chains may be available but additional payment is required as they vary in price- please contact me to discuss before placing your order!) These knot work pendants are my best selling design. They are understated and lightweight and an ideal way to carry a piece of your favourite crystal or gem with you every day. I also make matching items, please contact me if you are interested in building up a set of bloodstone jewellery.

Full description
Beautiful Bloodstone is predominantly dark green and can have red or brown accents caused by inclusions of hematite within the stone. It is also known as Heliotrope or Piedra Del Sol. In ancient times the red surface accents were said to be reminiscent of the blood of Christ and the stone was therefore a popular amulet for Christians. Crystal collectors believe bloodstone to be symbolic of courage, energy and motivation. As well as being one of the traditional birthstones for March, bloodstone is also the zodiac stone for those born under Aries. Aries birthdays occur between March 21st and April 19th.
This pretty sterling silver pendant features a single 8 mm genuine bloodstone bead, intricately hand wrapped in a delicate knot work of sterling silver wire. The pendant is finished with an 18 inch sterling silver trace chain ready to wear or gift.
Each pendant I make is slightly different due to the methods of hand wrapping and the individual characteristics of natural gemstones, this makes each handmade pendant extra special. For this listing I will instinctively choose a beautiful bloodstone bead and your pendant will be made to order, as each bead has unique markings and colouration there will be differences between the illustrative photos and your own unique piece. These pendants measure approximately 19 mm to the top of the jump ring by 10 mm wide.
All my jewellery comes in a high quality gift box, finished with tissue and ribbon.
