Hand veneered Baffle box with a colourful quilt block inspired design in dyed and natural wood veneers.
This take apart box comes apart easily so that it can be stored inside a large tournament board (mine is an M Gammon board).
It holds together with four pairs of small neodymium magnets. NB...in the event that one of these comes unstuck they can be reapplied using superglue or contact adhesive.
For safety reasons this is not be used by small children in case the magnets do come unattached.
The baffles inside have applied leather to reduce the noise slightly.
Inside it has been painted with acrylic paint, the outsides have been filled, sanded, sealed and then given several coats of French Polish to enhance the beauty of the wood.
Height is 13 cm, width is 6.2cm and depth is 7cm when put together, depth when separated is a maximum of 3.5cm
