My wife is a potter and was very disappointed by the quality of the aprons available so designed her own and set about making one that was as good and if not better than the global market number one. Now with over 1200 sales of this item without one bad review you can be sure this apron is top quality.

Full description

A split leg potters apron made from a hard wearing blue cotton with claynglaze branding. This apron has two large hip pockets. One size fits all. Adjustable straps.

114 cm long and 29cm wide

A perfect strong and hard wearing apron for throwing on the potters wheel, each leg is perfectly covered when sitting at the wheel or work bench and ensures general ease of movement in the studio.. This traditional apron is made to last and washable, a must have for any professional or would be potter and it also makes an deal gift.

Washing Instructions.

Ideally 2 aprons would ensure you have one in the wash and one to wear! Never work in a clay covered apron where the clay has dried on as it will create clay dust particles which you should avoid breathing in. You can wait for clay to dry and then brush/tap it off, avoid breathing in the dust. This easily removes the clay before you wash your apron on a low setting. short spin

Alternatively soak your apron overnight , the clay will be easily removed as it will have formed a slurry in the base of your bucket. Rinse under the tap and then wash on a low setting if necessary. A short spin, I advice you to tie the apron straps so the apron does not become entangled.

Never wash an apron covered in wet clay in a washing machine as the clay will be hard to remove and leave a residue in the drum or the drum door.
