I enjoy sketching and designing imaginary dwellings, inspired by fairytales and fantasy art. Whilst carving I often find myself imagining who might like to live inside!

Full description
A beautiful hand carved wooden fairy house measuring approximately 17.5 cm tall and 7cm wide.
The fairy house has been hand carved from silver birch and features many characterful details, including the rocky steps leading to the front door and the apex tiled roof. Parts of the house have been coated with a solution of bicarbonate of soda, which brings out the natural colouring of the wood and highlights the areas of detailed carving. The fairy house has then been treated with a coating of linseed oil to cure the wood.
The fairy houses and towers I carve are all one of a kind pieces, with their own particular character. They make attractive decorations by themselves and also look eye-catching when a few dwellings are placed together.
Once purchased, the item will be beautifully wrapped and sent to you in eco-friendly, plastic-free packaging, which is fully recyclable.
