I had made some toadstool granny square fingerless gloves and thought it would be nice to have matching hats in a lovely granny stripe pattern.

Full description
This gorgeous hat has been crocheted using premium 100% acrylic yarns it is one size due to the stretchy nature of the crochet and should fit most ladies’ heads.
The hat body is crocheted in the fabulous and on trend granny stitch in a gorgeous combination of lilac, purple green and white yarns and I have added a deep rib border which can be turned up for a classic pompom beanie style or left unturned which allows the hat to be worn as a classic slouch hat, please see photos.

I have added a faux fur pompom. There is a button on the inside of the hat so you can easily remove the pompom by unhooking the loop around the button if you prefer your hat fluffless and for washing purposes.
The hat is machine washable on a cool wash, I would recommend washing inside out. Reshape while damp and air dry, do not tumble dry.
Remove pompom before washing, the pompoms can be hand washed, air dry and for extra fluffiness give them a blast with a hair dryer on a cool setting.
