He just turned out to be wearing a naval uniform and then I added the dog and then I added the dog's teeth...and that got me wondering. Just what is going on here!?!

Full description

Admiral Vladimir Ilich Shipski is very famous. This is not surprising for the admiral has fought many battles, although none of them have been at sea. He won the battle of Chekhov Hill, perhaps the grandest snowball fight ever witnessed (he is credited with knocking off at least 7 hats) and to this day still wears the medal he was awarded with great pride. Because of his fame he is often approached by autograph hunters. To deter them he has taken to fitting his pet dog, Fiona, with a set of false teeth. This makes her look quite aggressive (she isn't) but it does allow him to take his walks undisturbed.

This is an original A4 (210mm x 297mm) sized artwork drawn by myself. It is not a print. It is drawn on an off white heavyweight watercolour paper (I forget which make). It is done using fineliner drawing pens and acrylic paints. The image is central to the paper and is approximately 16 x 24cm.
