I love making animals out of clay. There is something about sheep’s heads that I like to build and glaze. Using raku firing for sheep lends it self well to capture the depth and texture of the sculpture. I build everything at home on the kitchen table and get it fired at a local studio.

Full description
Raku fired sheep head that can be wall hung. Hand built by shaping the clay, then dried, bisque fired, then raku glazed and fired. Dimensions ear tip to ear tip 23 cm by 9cm. White crackle glaze with black on the areas where no glaze had been applied.
