Hello! Welcome to my Folksy Art Shop.
I am a UK based artist living in the West Midlands where I produce the original linocut prints and paintings. My work is inspired by all the lovely places I have travelled to and collected photo's and memories of over the years. Nature and landscape are 2 of my biggest inspirations.
I graduated from Birmingham Polytechnic in Graphic Design back in 1988 and have practised my art ever since. For a number of years I specialised in pen and ink drawings but over the past few years I have explored other media, and I'm always open to trying new materials and art forms.

Full description
This is an original mixed media drawing of a deer standing in a forest. It is an imagined scene, the forest is based on photographs I took during a visit to the Den at the Scottish town of Kirriemuir during the month of September.
This is an original mixed media drawing created using a mixture media including dip pen and Indian and Acrylic Ink, Faber-Castell Pitt Artists Pen, Sakura Pigma Pen and Caran d'Ache Museum Aquarelle and Faber Castell Albrecht Durer artists' watercolour pencils. The artwork has been created on Arches Watercolour Paper.
The artwork measures approx. 5.5 inches x 10 inches. There is a small border around the drawing where it has been taped to the board.
The artwork will come to you unmounted and unframed.
It will come to you in a cellophane sleeve, wrapped in tissue paper, in a board backed envelope. I usually add a piece of card cut down from a recycled source, to add a little more protection while the artwork travels through the postal system.
I will send the artwork by Royal Mail's 1st Class Signed for Service in the UK and International Signed For or Tracked for overseas.
Any additional items purchased at the same time will be sent at no extra cost.
