PHOTOGRAPH

I took this photograph at car show that was held in Kent June 2022.

HISTORY.

The Vauxhall Cresta was manufactured from 1954 to 1972 and was a family saloon that competed with Ford Zodiac/Zephyr series. The PA was produced from 1957 to 1962 and given a facelift in 1959 that included increasing the six cylinder engine from 2262cc to 2651cc giving a top speed of 95mph and a 0-60mph of 15seconds. The design paid homage to the American cars of the time with fins and chrome only being British was understated in comparison to the vehicles on the other side of the Atlantic

(We photograph and design the illustrations we use on our products. Any trade marks, or names used are for descriptive purposes only and DO NOT imply any connection with the companies involved and we have no intention of impugning their brand.)
